Need For Speed Shift Full CSO 983Mb


Chris Roper recently reviewed Need for Speed Shift on the PlayStation 3 and loved it. Of course, no multi-console EA release is complete without a PlayStation Portable version of the title, so Need for Speed Shift is also now available on Sony's handheld. Aside from the name, about the only thing in common between the console and portable games is the fact that they both feature cars.

Don't get me wrong - I didn't come into this looking for a watered-down version of Slightly Mad Studios' driving tour-de-force, but it's definitely worth noting that this isn't a simulation racer in any way, shape or form. Unfortunately, that still doesn't mean it's really all that great...

NesterJ PSP v1.20 released - NES emulator for PSP
Ruka has released a new version of NesterJ, the NES emulator for PSP. Ruka is testing out the Wi-Fi battle function in this test release. Your feedback is needed.

About Nester J Wi-Fi Mode

Limitations
The game will stop if too many communication errors are encountered. (This is not a hang-up, but the refresh of the screen is stopped.)
To recover from this problem, just press the Home button to exit.
A patched version will be released when the problem is addressed.

Minor Problems
Sound processing is changed. Some changes in sound are present.
UI of the WiFi Network is not very friendly.
Cannot select player (just thought so, haven't tried)
When WiFi Network Play starts, you will not be able to return to local play. The only way to fix is to exit NesterJ and start again.
Communication timing is not satisfactory yet. (still in adjustment)
You can still use functions that should not be used in WiFi mode, such as State Load and ROM selection.

How to use:
Change the network settings in PSP to AdHoc.
Launch NesterJ and load the ROM you want to play with.
Select Wifi Network Play (Adhoc) from the menu. (Remember to turn on the WLan switch on the left side of the PSP)
Wait a second and you will see a message saying sceNetInit() done. displayed. (From now on this PSP is in standby mode for WiFi play)
Set another PSP into the standby mode, and it will display the MAC address and the ROM image name on the first PSP.
2P Send Connection Request

Press O button to send a connection request.
1P Accept Connection Request

Press O button to accept connection requests from other PSPs.
After a series of communication tests, the emulation will start. (the emulator can hang up during the tests)
* Of course you will need some NES ROMs to run in the emulator. You should also keep all the settings from the 2 PSP consistent to prevent potential hang-ups.

Light Mp3 Beta2 for PSP2000 (slim)


Over 3 months after the original beta release, LightMP3 has gotten a new tuneup, which includes support for 4.01m33, the latest (and best) custom firmware out on the block at the moment.

If you’ve never heard or used LightMP3, consider it. It’s VERY nifty, and a very worthy upgrade over the default "player" built in to the PSP. Heck, it’s an upgrade over any shell’s MP3 players. Full of features, looks, and options, it’s easily one of the most powerful tools for playing MP3s, OGGs, ATRAC3+, and FLAC files. Perhaps best of all is that it uses VERY little power, so this thing will last you on end if you use it for music.

Tweexter for PSP2000 (slim)


Here's a new homebrew game you might want to try out. Reizencroft has released his very first PSP homebrew project, dubbed as Tweexter v0.1. Similar to TextTwist, Tweexter is a word puzzle game that lets you arrange words from a set of seven letters. To advance a level, all you have to do is find out what the seven letter word is. This release of Tweexter includes the source code used to make the game, so budding homebrewers out there can learn a thing or two about making their own Tweexter-type homebrew. In any event, feel free to watch a video below that shows Tweexter in action. Enjoy!

GBA Emulator for PSP2000 (slim)


It seems that every single day a new development from homebrew developers is released for Sony's PSP Console. And the last few days have been no exception to that rule. From the good guys over at PS2Nfo, we've learned that a GBA Emulator has been release for the PSP. Now hardcore gamers can start playing their GBA Games right on their PSP Console. While this GBA Roms emulator is by no way a completed final release, it already sports many of the features that it's popular PC counterparts have to offer.

Although the ReadMe states there is no sound implementation yet it appears there is (pushing Left/Right on the Analogue Stick seems to toggle the sound ON and OFF). Some new changes also include supporting one game at a time (it must be renamed to ROM . gba without the spaces of course!), the directory must be named VBAPSP, and one SAVE at a time total per game is now featured. However, if you wish to save on another game you must remove the old save to do so. Similarly, pushing Up/Down on the Analogue Stick may change the clock speed... as it changes the background from Black (222mhz), to Blue (266mhz?), to Red (333mhz?) and provides a noticeable speed difference on the Red background. Lastly, pressing Triangle/Square increase and decrease frame skipping it appears... some nice 'undocumented' features indeed!

Currently it plays very slowly and has no sound, but the Japanese author states improved versions are coming soon. Also, it appears that ROMs larger than 16MB aren't working yet.

In other PSP GBA Emulator news, according to PS2NFO.com psp298 has released a new GBA (Game Boy Advance) emulator for the PSP, namely PSPGBA v1.0. Currently it includes a GUI for game management (like RIN) and is optimized for speed, however, it's currently not 100% as fast as GBA but many games are definitely playable so enjoy!

As a devoted fan of the Tony Hawk franchise since the very beginning of the series when it was called Tony Hawk Pro Skater, I’ve seen the game evolve from a simple-yet-fun series to a thrasher’s dream come true with the Tony Hawk Underground games. Even Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland had something interesting to offer, although it wasn’t as fun as past games in the series. Just like a good skating competition, fans stay for the fresh new tricks but unfortunately fresh new tricks can’t be found in Tony Hawk’s Project 8 for the PSP … one of the weakest entries in the franchise.

The game’s Career Mode begins with you picking from three skaters, each has his own style of skating whether it’s the punk or the kid or the street skater. You start the game in the Suburbs and work your way through a number of levels that take you to different locales. Of course, you’re still free to explore your surroundings but in order to advance you have to talk to people on the street to complete a list of challenges. The game brilliantly sets up three difficulty setting for each challenge, allowing you to take on the amateur or pro setting. Like past games, these challenge range from the simple (do a kick flip over a picket fence) to the more complex (collect some items and bring them back to the place of origin before the timer runs out).

The Game Plan


Top Boston Rebels football star, Quarterback Joe Kingman, has an unknown 8-year old daughter from a former marriage show up on his doorstep. This precocious youth, Madison Pettis, transforms his life from a egotistical, promiscuous bachelor to a loving father. Instead of decreasing his popularity, his daughter makes the athlete even more popular among fans and teammates. Joe Kingman admires Elvis Presley (The King) and fills his life with Elvis memorabilia and actions. Little Madison steers her Dad away from his exotic, blonde Russian girlfriend, Tatianna, towards her wholesome ballet teacher, Monique Vasquez. A turn of events ends with a happy ending for both the football and romance sides of this Disney family big-budget film.

Joe Kingman was living the average life of a star football player until 8 year old Payton Kelly shows up at his door insisting that she is his daughter. After some remembering he realizes this could easily be possible and accepts the challange of taking care of her while her mom is away.At first it does not go so well. Finally Joe Gives in to Payton and signs her up for a ballet program where they meet Monique who helps Joe to figure out how to take care of Payton. When Joe and Payton get in a fight and Payton accidentally eats her allergen, Joe realizes he needs to get her to the hospital quickly. When they find out she is ok Payton's mother's sister shows up, who Payton had said was dead, and tells Joe that Payton was not supposed to be there and her mother had died. She takes Payton back right before Joe's championship game and he gets injured. When he is resting in the locker room Payton shows up and tells him she missed him and her aunt decides she should stay with Joe. Joe returns to the game and they win. this is not everything but it is a pretty detailed review correct any mistakes.

The wide generation gap between Tess Coleman and her teenage daughter Anna is more than evident. They simply cannot understand each other's preferences. On a Thursday night they have a big argument in a Chinese restaurant. Both receive a fortune cookie each from the restaurant owner's mother which causes them to switch bodies next day. As they adjust with their new personalities, they begin to understand each other more and eventually it's the mutual self-respect that sorts the things out.

Dr. Tess Coleman and her fifteen-year-old daughter, Anna, are not getting along. They don't see eye-to-eye on clothes, hair, music, and certainly not in each other's taste in men. One Thursday evening, their disagreements reach a fever pitch - Anna is incensed that her mother doesn't support her musical aspirations and Tess, a widow about to remarry, can't see why Anna won't give her fiancé a break. Everything soon changes when two identical Chinese fortune cookies cause a little mystic mayhem. The next morning, their Friday gets freaky when Tess and Anna find themselves inside the wrong bodies. As they literally walk a mile in each other's shoes, they gain a little newfound respect for the other's point of view. But with Tess's wedding coming on Saturday, the two have to find a way to switch back - and fast.

Two black FBI agents, Kevin and Marcus (Shawn and Marlon Wayans), have gone undercover to bust a drug dealer, but their sting falls apart. Their boss gives them a new assignment to escort two hotel heiresses, Brittany and Tiffany Wilson, to the Hamptons. The FBI has received word that there is a plot to kidnap the sisters at the Hamptons. As they are driving from the airport to the Hamptons, the girl's little dog goes out the window, and causes them to have a wreck. The two girls end up with cuts on their faces in the wreck. Brittany and Tiffany take a stand, and refuse to go to the Hamptons looking like this. If they don't go, the kidnapping plot will not occur. Kevin and Marcus will fail again, and probably lose their jobs. They decide to disguise themselves as the Wilson sisters and catch the kidnappers.

The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.

Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) wakes up on her last day of school before summer. She really wants to go to a summer camp called 'Camp Rock'. Her mom tells her she can't afford it so she can't go. At school she's by her locker and her friend comes and starts speaking in Mandarin. She goes home and her parents say she is going to camp rock. This is because her mom got a job as a cook. Shane Gray (Joe Jonas) along with other band members Nate (Nick Jonas) and Jason (Kevin Jonas) arrive at Camp Rock to make Shane go to the camp and make himself behave, as Shane is a real jerk. At camp, Mitchie meets Caitlyn (Alyson Stoner), who she later befriends. She also meets 'camp diva' Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin), Peggy (Jasmine Richards) and Ella (Anna Maria Perez de Tagle). Mitchie is caught up in the world of Tess and her drama. During the film, Mitchie started to become a friend to Shane. tess gets jealous of this friendship and keeps trying to break it up. Shane, while being stalked by fans, falls outside a room where Mitchie is practising a song. Mitchie doesn't know he's there and he doesn't know who is singing but loves it. Tess makes sure that Mitchie doesn't perform her song to Shane and others at the 'Final Jam', as they are a double act. They manage to anyway and then Shane find out that he was trying to find Mitchie all along. The kinda fall for each other but don't kiss.

Lambeau Fields lives a middle-class lifestyle in America along with his wife, Barb, and a gorgeous daughter, Michelle, who he has brought up as a son. Lambeau is a failure and has virtually given up on his career as a football coach. Then his friend, Freddie Wiseman, encourages him to re-enter this field, and he does so by re-locating to Plainfolk in Texas and joins the Heartland State University. With these additions and others Lambeau sets forth to include his team in the next Super...Er...Toilet Bowl 2 series, and it is here that he will find that Lance fumbles a lot; Barb is not quite faithful as she seems; he will soon be in jail for Indecent Exposure; Michelle has a black boyfriend; and Freddie has a hidden agenda.

GTO The Movie


Great Teacher Onizuka is the story of Eikichi Onizuka, an unorthodox high school teacher whose decidedly unusual teaching methods make him a hero to the kids, but a menace to the establishment. Conceived as a Japanese manga by Toru Fujisawa, the saga of Great Teacher Onizuka achieved phenomenal success in Japan, spawning an animated television series, a twelve-episode TV drama, and a TV special. Finally, in late 1999, the braintrust of Fuji TV brought us GTO: The Movie, which is what this review happens to be about.
Unlike the usual GTO storylines, the film takes place as far away from the big city as possible. The setting is the rural town of Horobonai, which is located on Japan's northern-most island of Hokkaido. The local high school has a trouble class, which is mostly due to the presence of Ayano Katsuragi (Rena Tanaka), the local ice princess, whose dad ran a theme park called "Canada Land." Unfortunately, said park went bankrupt and the town is now experiencing a depression, of both the economic and emotional variety. The kids (including Ayano) frequently threaten suicide, and the teachers are your usual motley band of useless types.

At 17 Mike O'Donell was on top of the world; he was the star of his high school basketball team, and was a shoo in for a college scholarship. And is dating his soul mate, Scarlett. But on what's suppose to be his big game wherein college scouts are checking him out, Scarlett reveals that she's pregnant. Mike decides to leave the game and asks Scarlett to marry him which she does. During their marriage, Mike could only whine about the life he lost because he married her. So she throws him out. And when he loses his job, he returns to the only place he's happy at - his old high school. And while looking at his high school photo, a janitor asks him if he wishes he could be 17 again and he says yes. One night while driving he sees the janitor on a bridge and apparently jumps in and he goes after him. When he returns to his friend, Ned's house, where he has been staying, he sees that he is 17 again. He decides to take this opportunity to get the life he lost.

Marvel Super Heroes


Marvel Super Heroes is a fighting game developed by Capcom. Originally released in the arcade in 1995 on the CPS-2 arcade system, it was later ported to the Sega Saturn and PlayStation. It features many superheroes and supervillains from the Marvel Comics line, including Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and the Hulk.

The game is loosely based on the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, with the heroes and villains battling each other for the Infinity Gems. The final boss is Thanos, who steals whatever Gems the player had collected (at that point, all but the sixth gem, Mind) and uses them against the player, but with each gem having a strange, new effect when used by Thanos.

The game played similar to Capcom's previous Marvel-licensed fighting game, X-Men: Children of the Atom, but with a more simplified use of the super combo gauge, and the addition of the Infinity Gems. Each Gem could be activated in battle, giving the user a different power for a few seconds. In addition, each character had a Gem that they had a special affinity for, and would get additional abilities whenever they activated it.

On other hand, I got this arcade game from another site and downloaded it and decided to post it on my own for the sake of those PSP lovers out there! Yeah! You heard me right fellas, Marvel Super Heroes is now on PSP! :D Download it now!!!

Just looking some old stuffs on my hard drive and I found this game and it came to me an idea of posting it (again) on my own blog site. I should say that this game really hooked me up during my PS2 days, with a lot of additional game levels and goals to complete with! (isn't that fantastic?) Game Summary
The game is a departure from the previous three games' Career mode, in which the player had a set amount of time in order to find and complete goals. THPS4 instead featured a Career mode more similar to Free-skate mode, in which there was no time limit to explore the level, the goals are usually offered to the player to attempt by characters found in the level. This Career mode would be later seen as the Story modes of Tony Hawk's Underground series, American Wasteland, Project 8 and Proving Ground.

A rap version of "Saturday Night Fever." The movie begins in 1985 in a flashback scene where Chuck (Connor Price) entered a closet with a goth girl named Anisha (Sasha Pieterse) but refused to have any sexual contact with her while playing seven minutes in heaven at a friend's boy/girl party. In retaliation for having no interest in her, Anisha placed a curse (hex) on him: every single woman he sleeps with will break up with him and meet her soul mate.

Chuck is at the beach with his girlfriend, Carol, having sex. After she performs fellatio she gets mad at Chuck, and they break up. Chuck (Dane Cook), now in his thirties, is running a dentist practice in the same building as his best friend Stu (Dan Fogler), a plastic surgeon. Chuck finds himself unable to tell women he loves them. This leads to an eventual breakup, but soon leads to his ex-girlfriend getting married. At one such wedding, Chuck becomes enamored with Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba), a sometimes clumsy girl who nevertheless appears quite friendly. Chuck tries to ask Cam out on a date, but she gently refuses him.

Peter is a composer and a likable sad guy who's devastated when his girlfriend of five years, Sarah Marshall, the star of a cheesy CSI-style crime show, dumps him. He weeps, he rails, he mopes. Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny CSO 346MB


Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny is a fighting game in the Soul series for PlayStation Portable. It was announced by Namco Bandai on April 28, 2009. It plans to use a lot of the features of Soulcalibur IV, including its character customization mode. One of the goals of the game is "to target beginners and novice players with SC IV's content". The game is known to introduce at least two new characters to the series, including Kratos from the God of War series, and Dampierre, a new original character.

Update is removed and is modified to run on 5.00M33-6 and 5.50 gen-B CFWs'. Enjoy!
